And now, I look back to New Bedford, Massachusetts, born raised in the house. There’s no stage, no flashing light bulbs in my face, I see inside of me, mom’s crying baby, in my mothers loving arms, rocking all night long. I see my father making custom wood furniture down in the cellar. I see the Christmas tree, big boxes of presents, lots of presents for me and my brother Davy. I smell the tree, pine needles are fresh swirling around my bed upstairs-saying’ go down stairs and take a peek you sneak. So I sleep walk fake like, I may be caught, I peek the a cracking door, my mother is wrapping presents for us. A life with a mom, dad, brother, sister I cherished, that left me alone today. I’m in a stillness of those memories, simply Larry. Tears roll down my cheeks as I whisper to the ghosts of the past. “I’m so sorry, I spent my life building a World of dreams and fame far away, for now to realize the true treasure of gold, has always been there, with them in the silence of my family’s chaos. Now its to late but I understand when you have no-family left, you walk alone skating on thin ice, just a crystal-vase-heart, its struggling to go on. I tell myself you fool, what is the sense of trying anything else anyway? The gift of life has passed you by. And strangely enough today, I see clear ly like never before. I inhale one single long breath, and its everything. I talk to the plants their a lot more friendly then most people, who stare at me rudely saying nothing. What the fuc is that? I ask myself, and sometimes them? I certainly can be a mother fucker, I am a Gonsalves. But today the wild life come up to me like house pets. A crow landed on my head in my garden. I thought… lucky elephants don’t fly or you’d be dead guy. I see the struggling working class people, we, the slaves of the big business, politics, and religion all corrupt. Even Tho’ I have enough money to train, eat, sleep for the rest of my life, it’s not what life is suppose to be, a man needs to work, or a mans soul is crushed. People need to serve other people, help bring a smile to a needy one, that today tome, feels best. And for the elderly people, the beautiful wise needy ones. So, I perform in 2-San Fernando Valley nursing homes, 1-time a month and sing my songs, and they sing along. In between I get them moving exercising, standing, breathing, stretching, being free from chairs, strollers, walkers. Even if I need to hold them they do it, they live, they smile. They trust me. They tell me, come back, please Lawrence. And the staff tell me ‘they can’t wait to see you again Lawrence”. But Good ole American culture put mom and dad in a nursing homes. They need a new system and I have the great idea for our elderly. So anyway if one man me, can bring life to a nursing home we’ could create the new elderly eco-system in America. Shit what a concept, then most will want in, and out of the cold, selfish, blind family ones they come from, who don’t want them. I lived in Bombay India, 2yrs, parts of Asia, and other, I especially like the Thailand culture, and those woman, they are pure wisdom and peace, their energy is healing.

I’ve messed up with people, I could of been a major movie star, I had the higher up person but didn’t know how to be a friend. And now I spend the rest of my life trying to get me right. We got to forget the past person, and thats the hardest thing to do. And just because we fuc-up with people, mostly because of -“it’s so hard to sing, “to live” when you’re starving chasing debt” - needing money fucks your mind up’ and so we panic - we get desperate, we do things that other people who can help us, say he’s nuts. BUT’ even so if we don’t believe in ourselves, no one else will. You’ve got to be your own biggest fan, even when you’re your own worst enemy. Or you die alive.
“ I still hear MOM’S voice in the quiet moments…and some days, that’s what gets me through.” GRIEF doesn’t always scream-it sometimes sings. “Mom’s Crying Baby” isn’t just a Lawrence ballad. It’s a son breaking in real time. When I lost my mother, Thelma, to cancer, it shattered me. And instead of hiding, I put the pain of the days’ that I was alone with my mom, watching her suffer to a song-not for charts, from emotions not for fame-but for the woman who gave everything to her sons, and deserved so much more.
It’s not a lyric. It’s a prayer. A goodby, forever. And maybe that’s the most powerful thing about music-it lets us turn our wounds into something that keeps breathing long after we can’t! In my case, I’m not a touring rodeo, its a tribute to my decent. The strangest lesson I learned, is this… when a member of your closest family passes, there’s a funeral, or memorial, a mourning, a major part of healing. Where Other’ members-the clan, console you. In my case, I never got one “I’m so sorry Larry” and thats when I learned the greatest lesson of life, I am alone!

Born & raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts, to Thelma Lee Roderick, & Lawrence Gonsalves Sr’… I was a much talked about kid, there was my Uncle Richard Silva’ Aka ‘The Whappa” a feared but loved booky - shy locker, bar owner with a casino in the basement, and if you didn’t pay your bet, you never left, he would order cement shoes, it was He’ who called me a gentlemen and a scholar, and use to say “Larry you need fuck-you money, that means fuc you’ you got your own! So you never have to slave for pay boy.” And I was a liked popular but troubled kid in school - one year in head-start I had to repeat the grade for a bad act, and I was sent to a Jewish Synagog where at out door play time PE’, physical education, there was a contest everybody had to see how many chin-ups, they could do, and the winner won. My teacher lifted the young kids up, first second graders like hanging dolls, when she hung me to grasp the bar, I began chin-ups, and she counted, I would not stop, it got top 20’s and 30’s into chin-ups, and she screamed come down, stop that… I kicked and screamed no’ and that was the kid I am today I will not quit!….
And at the age of 11’ my dad gave me for Christmas a York weight set, it was then I started dabbling my curiosity lifting, and at 18’yrs young, I became the all natural bodybuilding champion of New England, Massachusetts in two contests, Mr Plymouth Rock my first, and I won everything, my brother Mike Ponte helped me and laughed saying “those other guys are all ready are saying your the overall winner, they don’t want to go on stage because of your body man”. I was naive then, but it was true, people came up to me, spectators in audience and said “perfect body man, all natural the best!” And I planned it that way. And 4 months later, I entered the East Coast Bodybuilding championship with much older men on steroids, extremely stereo-typical-dumbell-bodybuilders, with all the jargon, lolo’ which I am not. Anyway but again I walked off with the overall winner. I never took drugs, vitamins, protein drinks, non-of-that shit, and that is true today. I’ve always kept leanest, hard muscle, density, and a low body fat, daily in contest or photo-shoot shape, better then the rest, all natural, pretty to look at man, not goonish overlay done, and I shaped every muscle’ which you can as well. But again talk about life experiences, I was a pro-commercial scallop fisherman, out at sea for weeks, the ass busting Manley trade, my dad broke me in at 16’yrs young, to the toughest job on earth out at sea on a scallop boat. Wild ocean moving constant underneath your body, “sea legs” you had to get them after time to survive, because with everything out to get you one bad move your dead! And so the foundation of humans’ is our legs they are everything. Without a foundation your a ship your body your life is without a rudder. But again I learned this when I was a kid, and ten years later I mastered commercial fishing, but I found trouble in bars and with woman, while on land, spending my pay check, so after a high speed car chase, which ended up pretty bad. I headed west of east for a better life. After a bitter argument with my dad, which is in my screenplay, while he was on a drunken rage, anyway my mother gave me a plane ticket, she cried I cried and we said good by at the door.
I arrived in Los Angeles, instantly homeless, the first time, with limited funds. I lived in a park in Northridge, and bounced in a nightclub as a angry doorman, with a chip on his shoulders, you see, I hated drunks, I was raised with them, family, friends, my daddy abused us all when he was drinking, anyway I was bouncing throwing drunks out the door. I was in a fight always. I hated the attitudes of drunks, and I was living in a park at night and thats another story. But after time, tears and trying to solve my own anger issues, this is what happened to me.
Today, I am’ the Exercise Antiage Expert, movie trainer, & a formerly trained master crafty Actor, who got whisked into India’s Bollywood movie district Mumbia, living for several years, they called ‘Lawrence of America’ the movie trainer, actor, in weekly tabloids Bollywood headlines, they called Lawrence is India’s health ambassador, on India’s NDtv.
So I created A BEAUTIFUL TRAGEDY based on true events, as naunced as fiction from a Hollywood parking lot, with an all-American dream living homeless at night in a junky car haunted by a past in a dream, and by day training a few clients in the Hollywood gym, whisked to India’s Bollywood, to train a star, instantly famous on arrival, beside the mega star in Indian tabloids, with photo’s when I found love on a Bollywood movie set all the way in Cape Town SA’ filming a movie. And so, I had to choose this love or my all American dream, to save the people from dying young, with a happy ending?
So I designed and hand crafted my original equipment Inventions, displayed here on ifitwel.com that are a sly ‘theme of swag items’ for sale not for free - of original health product's, by intwined in the movie theme - for more movie global audience profit and intern the movie audience becomes healthiest and a life-long client of the movie companies and cast - from it - there is so much pr- in changing peoples life's, from my movie concept its not sickening like Western Medicine, it’s elixiring antiaging preventive medicine curing, and it’s a billion dollar bunch of markets Globally all from, A/ Hollywood, to B/Bollywood, into Cape Town’ SA’ C/Africa movie, adventure, are in the trillions of dollars - that are included and make up this brilliant low-budget movie project helping every person who watches the movie series, and lots of them will be changing into health gods from it - this is ongoing ongoing movie profit (all to help people with ill health and chronic diseases) that is my bullseye aim. My mother saw this event, called me to tell me. I replied: Mom that might be the greatest insult I’ve ever heard of myself. Let’s be honest Stallone, had no inspiring life story of his own so, he wrote Rocky in which was a true life story of a Philadelphia fighter in “real life” and Stallone wrote the script. Decades later the real Rocky sued him and Stallone made a deal out of court, so what’s so inspiring about that?
And on live radio with Howard Stern, with Pattie he probed the question, who’s the guy? And in the National Inquirer with Maury Povich’ also asked; “who’s the guy on the cover of Playboy magazine”? I was a gym trainer, with no agent or pr-maven who could have cared less. Ironically that Playboy magazine article ended up 15yrs later in India’s gossip tabloids in Bollywood headlines, with Lawrence flexing his 8-pack Abs-beside a pissed off Indian mega star Sanjay Dutt, who wanted no part of Lawrence the American trainer headlining with him, in any Bollywood news.
In addition, Lawrence posed for the Gold’s Gym Encyclopedia of American body building & 37+ Muscle Fitness Health magazines.
